It is an honour to attend a number of Remembrance services and lay wreaths across our district today in memory of those who have served our country.
I attended at Stonehouse and then Dursley and it was an honour to march with the parade and read from the Gospel of John with a lot of the parade packing out the church too. The formal address was very moving.
My good friends laid a wreath for me at St Mary's Church in Frampton as our little village always has a lovely service.
Thank you to all the organisers, veterans and various cadet forces that made them special for all of us.
“The Nation will always be grateful for your sacrifice. Let us always remember.”
