Dog theft

This week Tom Hunt MP and I wrote to the Sentencing Council asking them to amend the sentencing guidelines for pet theft.

We have continued to see a rise in pet thefts across Gloucestershire and it is important that there is an effective deterrent to prevent future crimes.

I want to thank Animal Welfare Service, Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire Constabulary for their continued work on local pet thefts.
