Every year the 9th – 15th October marks Baby Loss Awareness Week, a week which sets out to raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss across the UK.
This year during Baby Loss Awareness Week, I was very pleased to learn that online fashion store ASOS recently announced a new policy for their staff meaning that those who are dealing with pregnancy loss, amongst other wider health-related life events will now be entitled to paid leave.
ASOS is leading the way for employers with this brilliant new policy, and I look forward to seeing other companies follow suit.
If any local employers would like more information on this announcement from ASOS, or the campaign more generally, please do get in touch with my office by emailing siobhan.baillie.mp@parliament.uk
