Greater Accessibility at Stroud Railway Station

I have been campaigning for greater accessibility at Stroud railway station for many years.

As you will know, local people and tourists are met with great difficulties at the station if they are disabled, elderly, caring for young children or carrying heavy luggage. Without lifts, the numerous existing steps to access the footpath mean there is no alternative for many but to take an extensive journey around the station where there is limited pavement in places.

I have spoken to the Secretary of State for Transport, the Minister of State for Rail, GWR, local businesses and many others about this.

There is a funding pot called Access for All. We need to win this.

It is important that we demonstrate as much local support as possible for this campaign so please do fill in the below petition to have your name added to my letter to the Secretary of State 👇🏻.
