I have said before that I think the community should be involved given that people have been waiting over 20 years to see the site improved.
Following the tragedy last month there is no question of the speed and commitment needed.
Having long called for Tricorn House to be developed without more delay, I chaired a meeting with the council and developer on the next steps of the planning application - I have been told this will be in by the end of this week.
I will remain committed to championing community consultation during this process.
