Great news that from today, staff and pupils in secondary schools and colleges are no longer required to wear a face covering in classrooms.
This change in guidance will extend to communal areas within schools from next Thursday, 27th January in line with the lifting of Plan B restrictions.
I have been a firm supporter of ensuring there is minimal disruption to children’s education throughout the pandemic and I am very happy that the guidance on face coverings is being lifted 🙏🏻
